Event Details

On March 3rd, civic minded San Diegans will come together at SDSU's Viz Center to make our city even better. This event will be part of Code for America's Code Across America event, in which over a dozen cities will hold hackathons to build civic apps and plan for the year ahead.

We'll have brief presentations on civic hacking and Open San Diego, will work to set up two apps to improve life in San Diego, and have discussions to plan future events.

We'll be setting up the following two apps:

Who should come: Urbanists, Civic Hackers, City Reps, Developers, Designers, etc — anyone with the passion to make San Diego better!

Location information!

Google Map to VizCenter. The VizCenter is in room 120 of the Chemistry building. CSL-120 is the proper room number, in case you're familiar with SDSU.

Google Map to parking structure. Per the VizCenter's site: purchase parking voucher at security booth in front of Chemical Sciences Laboratory and park across the street in Parking Structure 1."

A note about sponsors: your sponsorship will go toward food for the event and any left over funds will be applied to future events. Your company will be mentioned on this page, on the Open San Diego twitter account, and at the event.
